Alice, as Principal Consultant with Edge brings a wealth of experience in delivering positive outcomes for marginalised populations whilst demonstrating quality, compliance and value for money.
Alice has worked in education, development, advocacy and humanitarian coordination in South Africa, the Netherlands, Peru, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and throughout Australia. Alice commenced her professional career with a Bachelor of International Studies, specialising in community development and globalisation from the University of New South Wales and worked internationally in the Netherlands, Peru and South Africa.
With a desire to build capacity and develop others’ strengths, she studied a Graduate Diploma in Education and taught in highly complex settings in remote Aboriginal Communities in Australia. Alice has since obtained additional capacity building qualifications and experience in early childhood education, adult education (training), professional coaching and mediation.
She polished her leadership and management skills with an MBA from the University of Western Australia, where she specialised in Social Impact and completed a portion of her MBA at Harvard University in the States. Alice has since worked in senior and executive management positions, research roles and facilitated strategic planning sessions for NGOs.
